Named Vice President of Education and Development
Indiana Electric Cooperatives (IEC) named Michael Craciunoiu to lead its careers, culture and development team. Craciunoiu will serve as the association’s vice president of education and development.
Craciunoiu will lead the association’s professional development, youth engagement, human resources and cooperative career awareness initiatives.
“We are excited to have Michael as a member of our team,” said John Cassady, CEO at IEC. “He is a respected learning and development professional who will be an asset to our member cooperatives as they meet the challenges facing our industry and work to improve the overall economic health and quality of life in the communities we serve.”
Craciunoiu has more than 20 years of experience in organizational development and leadership coaching, serving as a learning and development facilitator and strategic business partner to executives and their teams. He was most recently vice president of chapter services for the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation. He also served in roles for Special Olympics of Indiana, Indiana Department of Education, Damar Services, and Junior Achievement of Central Indiana.
Craciunoiu is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a Master of Education in human resource development. He is a skilled educator and certified executive coach whose expertise has helped guide leaders through learning development, change management and process improvement. His learning and development certifications include certified executive coach, certified DISC practitioner, professional certified coach, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator certified practitioner.
