Lena Morris named vice president of careers, culture and development
Indiana Electric Cooperatives promoted Lena Morris to vice president of careers, culture and development.
In this role, she will lead the association’s professional development, youth engagement, and cooperative career awareness initiatives.
“We are excited to have Lena leading our careers, culture and development team,” said Deirdre Tiernan, acting CEO of Indiana Electric Cooperatives. “Lena is uniquely gifted at building relationships, connecting with others, understanding them, and bringing out the best in those around her.”
Morris joined IEC in 2014 and previously served as the association’s director of training and development. She has over 15 years of experience in professional development and training, including roles with Target corporate and Roche Diagnostics.
Morris is a graduate of Kentucky State University and has earned learning and development certifications from DDI, DiSC, Emotional Intelligence Training Company, and Bell Leadership Institute. She is also a certified executive coach through NeuroLeadership Institute.
