In the jungles of Guatemala, 14 linemen from Indiana’s electric cooperatives braved primitive roads and mountainous terrain — different challenges than what they typically face as Indiana linemen. But together, they had one goal — to electrify Sepamac, a remote village in Guatemala.
Get a taste of the trip and meet the linemen who empowered the Guatemalan village — first by bringing electricity, then by enhancing the community. The Project Indiana linemen gave more than electricity to the Guatemalans. They gave them opportunities and hope for the future.
